Get Involved as a Volunteer Coordinator
If you’re looking for a way to impact your local community, consider becoming a congregational volunteer coordinator. You will be instrumental in organizing meal hosts, evening hosts, and overnight hosts to ensure everyone feels welcome and supported. As a leader, you will guide breakfast volunteers and oversee the set up and take down of rooms and beds, creating a nurturing environment for all.
Weekend Opportunities and Childcare Support
On weekends, we also need committed individuals for various roles. Weekend volunteer coordinators play a vital role in managing the weekend day center volunteers who assist with activities and services. Additionally, Tuesday night babysitting volunteer coordinators help provide crucial support for childcare services, ensuring that parents can attend important events while their children are looked after safely.
Special Events and Supply Donations
Special events are integral to our mission, and we need event coordinators for activities such as golf tournaments and the beach blizzard celebration. You can also get involved by becoming a donation coordinator, responsible for picking up and dropping off essential paper goods, food supplies, and cleaning supplies. Moreover, volunteer drivers are needed to help transport items or individuals to transitional housing.
