Partners in Housing Program

In 2017 FPYV introduced the Partners in Housing program. This program takes families from homeless to homeowner in an 18 to 24 month process. FPYV looks for affordable housing in the Mobile home market for families to purchase outright. FPYV has found that this market is largely overlooked by others in the community. Because of this it gives our families an opportunity to become home owners, and now the family has assets and a permanent home for their once homeless family. FPYV does this by first teaching and implementing the importance of hard work, goal setting, budgeting and determination to a family.

Setting tangible goals each week the families get motivated by their own small successes along the way, which lead to large success in time. With the severe lack of affordable rental housing in our community, FPYV is using this as a way to combat this crisis.
